Global Blood Fund is a US and UK registered charity. We assist blood services in low and middle-income countries collect sufficient, safe blood,. By providing training, equipment, grants and innovative support we help prevent many of the tens of thousands of deaths that occur each year because blood is not available for transfusion when needed by patients. We particularly focus on helping poorer countries with public engagement and donor recruitment to increase the number of available blood donors.
